Surge365 Gives Away 9 Cars at Baltimore Event
Company’s Car Program “Totally Different” Than Others in The Direct Sales Industry
Being described as a “totally unique” program, qualified Surge Business Associates, or SBAs, who earn their marketing Director rank are not required to qualify for a lease or even apply for insurance on the vehicles.
CEO Scott Tomer described the program this way, “Surge365 is not the first Direct Sales company with a car bonus, but ours is definitely different. When you qualify for the car, we buy it and you drive it. Your credit is never on the line because these are truly 'company cars' and are even covered under company insurance. This is totally unique in the industry.”
Car programs are nothing new in Direct Sales, dating back to the original pink Cadillacs of Mary Kay fame. But what used to be a perk, is seen by many as a financial burden because the cars are tied to the Distributor’
“We want this to be different,” says Tomer. “We take care of everything for our Marketing Directors. We handle the transaction, pay the insurance and basically hand them the keys.”
In Baltimore last weekend, that’s exactly what happened. Five of the gleaming white Chargers were delivered to Inner Harbor and driven off with great fanfare. The others are being delivered to the recipient’s home town.
According to Tomer, the Dodge Chargers are just the beginning. “These are our 'first tier' cars, we will also be giving away BMWs, Jaguars, and Mercedes Benz, as well as Bentleys to our top achievers.”
