ST. CHARLES, Ill. - March 16, 2015 - PRLog -- ­­­­­­­­­­­­­Pheasant Run Resort welcomes the beginning of spring with its Egg-stravagant Easter Sunday Brunch plus an overnight package for those who want to make a weekend getaway during the holiday. Executive Chef Tiffany Tooker and her culinary team will offer a lavish Easter Brunch served Sunday, April 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. that includes breakfast items, savory dishes, fresh sides and spring favorites.

“We have waited too long to celebrate the inviting, fresh tastes of spring and we look forward to treating our guests to a mouthwatering selection for the holiday,” says Chef Tooker.

Brunch favorites include stuffed Blueberry Pancakes, Thyme Sausage Links, Home Fried Potatoes, Grand Marnier French Toast and Waffles with Strawberries and Chantilly Cream.  For a more savory brunch, guests will enjoy a Leg of Lamb with a Mint Demi-Glace, Mesquite Chicken with a Fresh Herb Chardonnay Sauce, and a Pasta Station.  (Menu follows)

Families seeking an overnight getaway check in for the Pheasant Run Resort & Spa Easter Weekend Package.  Available April 3 and 4 only, the overnight offer includes one night’s accommodations for four (two adults and two children), two Easter Brunch/breakfast vouchers (1 per adult/child), kids’ passes for an exciting Easter Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny at either 11:30 a.m. or 4:30 p.m. on Saturday only, plus a complimentary movie with popcorn in the Solarium.  On Easter Sunday, families can visit the petting zoo between 10:30 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. have their photograph taken with the Easter Bunny between 9:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Children will also receive a coupon to visit the Craft Corner. Reservations required, and rates vary.
