In 2009, Horkey left his home with little cash, a load of debt, adventure in his heart and a seemingly impossible dream. After a six-month solo trip around the world, he lost everything, financially, and was blacklisted from Indonesia. Despite this, in a few years, he rebounded to generate millions of dollars running one of the largest chiropractic practices in Asia. The book documents his enthralling and heartbreaking journey that ultimately led him to immense success, wealth, and happiness today.

Dr Matthew Horkey is an author, speaker, and adventurer. Dedicated to helping people realize their potential, he’s passionate about storytelling as a tool to enable personal transformation by helping people becoming aware of the hidden obstacles in their lives. “Travel Learn, Earn: Let The World Be Your Guide to Freedom” is his first book. He has also authored articles for several trade magazines and peer reviewed publications. Dr Horkey has been a guest speaker at various companies including Microsoft, TripAdvisor, Norton Rose, JP Morgan, and the American University of Rome. He obtained his Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University.
