New Meet Me In The Cloud Course Marketplace Provides Expert Training for WebEx Customers

 
SAN JOSE, Calif. - March 12, 2015 - PRLog -- To help Cisco WebEx customers address their training and support needs, Cisco Partner Meet Me In The Cloud, LLC (MMITC) has developed and launched a self-service Course Marketplace that streamlines the process of finding, registering, purchasing, and attending a wide range of training courses on Cisco WebEx services.

When organizations first adopt Cisco WebEx web conferencing and collaboration services, they often find that their users need training and support to effectively leverage these tools and maximize the return on their investment. Even established, long-time WebEx customers encounter this issue as they add new staff or adopt additional WebEx offerings.  High quality end-user training is a critical component in the effective adoption of software-as-a-service (SaaS) business tools like WebEx, the industry leader in web conferencing.

Meet Me In The Cloud’s team of highly experienced former WebEx employees has been providing expert consultation, onboarding and training, services to WebEx customers since 2011. As the business grew, and as WebEx moved away from offering instructor-led training, MMITC customers began to ask for a self-serve mechanism for booking classes.

According to Susan McEvilly, Meet Me In The Cloud Founder and CEO, “Customers told us they wanted more options and easier access to online training with a live instructor. Our new Course Marketplace makes it easy for the customer to shop for the class they need, while our system handles the payment processing, registration, and communications to the student. That means faster service, more flexibility and less work for our customers.”

Meet Me In The Cloud’s new self-service Course Marketplace provides organizations and individuals access to its WebEx training course catalog and class schedule, enabling them to easily select a class from the schedule and then register for and purchase the class using major credit or debit cards, PayPal, or purchase orders. Classes are priced per student registration and purchasers can register up to 25 students per class. The Meet Me In The Cloud system will then automatically:

• Process the payment
• Register each student into the class
• Send the purchaser a receipt for their class purchase
• Email the class information to the student

Class registrations can be posted to the student’s calendar and the system will send reminder emails to each student at set intervals. When the day and time of the class session arrives, students can join from their calendar or reminder emails with a single mouse click.
