Patient Power to work with PatientsLikeMe to create new videos for cancer patients

SEATTLE - March 10, 2015 - PRLog -- SEATTLE, March 10, 2015— Today, Patient Power (http://www.patientpower.info)®, an organization devoted to empowering cancer patients through information, and PatientsLikeMe (http://www.patientslikeme.com) announced a partnership to create and share inspirational patient stories and educational research information. The new video-based content will feature patients sharing their experiences living with cancer to give others insight as they navigate their own treatment journeys.

Patient Power Founders Andrew and Esther Schorr created patientpower.info to give people information that helps them get the best medicine and manage their health. Personal experience drives their mission: Andrew is a patient who has faced two cancers, chronic lymphocytic leukemia and myelofibrosis, and has participated in two clinical trials. Today Patient Power features rich programs from top medical experts, dedicated advocates and knowledgeable patients and care partners.
