EMONEY GROUP solution chosen as the finalist of the Contactless & Mobile Awards 2015

March 10, 2015 - PRLog -- EMONEY GROUP solution has been chosen among 130 competitors as the finalist of expert contest “Contactless & Mobile Awards 2015“. The EMONEY GROUP solution iCEIBA - “Contactless Brain in the Cloud” is nominated finalist in the category “ECOSYSTEM”.

iCEIBA was created to connect isolated close loop smart card networks, especially in public transport, with other networks, cards, tokens and applications, as well as with any service providers, with three main objectives: to offer freedom of choice to end users & service providers; to be technology agnostic, open and non-discriminatory (it works with any leading contactless technologies - MiFARE, CIPURSE, etc., even EMV); to empower local Web and Mobile Application developers, because iCEIBA is about connecting existing contactless physical infrastructures to existing digital services.

“Our solution is very smart and flexible. It gives freedom not only to the end users, but to the service providers or system operators as well. Alongside it does not require any extensive system infrastructure changes, so it is quite cheap to implement. We are proud that it was developed based on cooperation with SAMSUNG Semiconductor,” explained Christian Senly, CTO at EMOENY GROUP.

The first round of Contactless & Mobile Awards (CMA) took place in 2011. The competition is sponsored by Visa Europe and is presented to those companies, organizations and retailers who have done the most to embrace and implement contactless/NFC technology into their day-to-day operating practices. These awards represent a real promotional springboard and give the winners a reputation and credibility for their efforts within the industry.

Among the finalist are companies such as: Smartlink, Transport for London, ING Bank, MSI Global, Cubic, BitPay and others.

The Winners are announced at the CMA Dinner on 28^th April 2015.
