By: OneTigris OneTigris 360 Adjustable Microphone Stand Specifications: 11" to 33" height adjustable Dual suspension springs on each boom arm protects microphone from suddenly dropping Material of the scissor arm: steel Comes with a universal microphone clip Can be attached to desktop up to 1 3/4"(4.5cm) thick Customer Reviews from Amazon: I am quite happy with this mic boom, especially for the price. The actual arm is top tier quality. It is very strong and will definitely hold heavier mics. However, one of the plastic pieces attached (the clip mount thing) broke during shipment. Fortunately I wasn't going to use the piece that broke, I already had some hardware that came with the mic I bought. EDIT: I received an email from the seller informing me that they fixed the packaging issue. I assume they detached it from the mic boom before packaging, as that's why it broke. The bolt you use to tighten the stand to your desk tends to slowly slip out of place away from the metal part it's next to, creating looseness. A couple strong zip ties and some elbow grease and problem solved. I have a thin glass desk, which may be the problem. It may work better for thicker wooden desks. EDIT: Ignore the paragraph below. I had the clamp on UPSIDE DOWN, lmao. It also has a bolt screwing into where the arm meets the mount, and I'm not sure exactly what it's there for. The pin on the bottom of the arm that goes down into the mount doesn't go deep enough into it for the bolt to make contact. It just kind of sits there and threads in and out pointlessly. EDIT: Back to real things. With the small modification I gave it, it's a great stand. It's very stable and solid on my desk, and after a whole month, the arm feels as strong as it did on day one. 5/5 for the product, docked a star for the broken part and need for zip ties. (Once again, this problem may not be present for wooden desks, but I'm leaving it here as a suggestion for anyone like me with a glass desk.) It's definitely a 4.5/5, but you can't mark halves of stars here. For the price, if you're in the market for a mic boom, this is it. Just go to Walmart and grab some thick zip ties and crank them down if you're having the slippage issue I had. Zip tying the wires from your mic to the top side of the arm also looks great.
