Hurricane Grill &Wings® Continues South Florida Expansion with New Restaurant in Sunrise

SUNRISE, Fla. - March 9, 2015 - PRLog -- WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (March 9, 2015) – Hurricane Grill & Wings (http://www.hurricanewings.com/)®, an island-inspired full-service restaurant franchise continues its home state expansion in the state of Florida with a new location in Sunrise.This is the 41^st location in the state of Florida for Hurricane Grill & Wings, and one of three locations opened in South Florida in the past three months. (Hurricane Grill & Wings in Jupiter opened December 2014; and Kendall is now officially open.)

Hurricane Grill & Wings’ Sunrise location features an indoor dining room that seats up to 130 as well as an outdoor patio that seats up to 80 people. The location also offers an outdoor Beach Bar where guests can enjoy a tropical cocktail like the signature Hurricane Bumby or one of the many refreshing local craft beers. It is located at 10035 Sunset Strip, Sunrise, FL 33322 and is open on Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.

While the restaurant opened to the public last month, its official Grand Opening celebration and Ribbon Cutting ceremony will take place on Thursday, March 19 beginning at 5:00 p.m. Activities include:

·         Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: Hurricane Grill & Wings will celebrate its opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, March 19 at 5:30 p.m. featuring the Greater Sunrise Chamber of Commerce and Sunrise Mayor Michael J. Ryan.

·         Grand Opening Celebration: Immediately following the ribbon cutting ceremony, guests are invited to celebrate at the restaurant’s Grand Opening. The event will include dancing chickens, entertainers, live music, giveaways, food/drink specials and an on-site photo booth.

·         Fundraiser / Giving Back: At the Grand Opening, money will be raised to benefit Make-A-Wish Southern Florida and Hurricane Grill & Wings’ “wish recipient” 8-year-old Armaan of Boynton Beach, Florida. Hurricane Grill & Wings locations around South Florida are selling “stars” to help give Armaan his wish to see the volcanoes in Hawaii.

·         Wing Eating Contest: To cap off the Grand Opening, Hurricane Grill & Wings will host a Wing Eating Contest beginning at 6:30 p.m., featuring Sunrise’s best! The Sunrise Police and Sunrise Fire-Rescue departments will fight it out (eat really hot wings) for the title!
