Hospice Re-Vamp Meets Needs of Patients

DEWSBURY, U.K. - March 9, 2015 - PRLog -- St Peter and St James Hospice & Continuing Care Centre benefits from an interior re-vamp as interior design company HomeSmiths partners with Shackletons to create a centre of wellbeing.

Based in Lewes, East Sussex, the out-dated hospice provides palliative care and required a scheme of works that would meet the needs of both existing patients and those who might use the Centre in the future.

Through focus groups with Hospice employees, and patients, design proposals and mood boards were developed and turned into reality as Shackletons provided cosy sofas, armchairs, formal dining furniture and occasional furniture that would reflect the very tranquil and gentle nature of the facility.
