Detroit-area Non-profit Formed To Assist Other Non-profits

TROY, Mich. - March 6, 2015 - PRLog -- March 6, 2015 - TROY, Mich. -- Business Consultants for Non-Profits (BCNP) officially launched its non-profit consulting services in May of 2014.  BCNP is a non-profit organization registered in Michigan as a (501(c)(3) whose mission is to help nonprofits in Southeast Michigan operate more efficiently and be more effective.

BCNP provides professional business consulting  by active and retired professionals who volunteer their time and business knowledge. The consultants' collective expertise has been cultivated through leadership in various notable businesses and by serving many metro-Detroit non-profits.

BCNP is focused on building the capacity of nonprofitsthrough consulting in areas such as board strengthening, strategic planning, IT advisory services, team building and financial management.

"We are honored and excited to be working with nonprofits and making a difference every day." said BCNP's President, Linda Braun. "All consultants volunteer their time and expertise, so our expenses are quite low. The value we provide far outweighs the minimal cost of our services."

In addition, BCNP is committed to giving back in a very tangible form - every year the Board donates the bulk of the net income back to local charities.
