Romance Author Releases G-Rated Regency Romance

LOGAN, Utah - March 6, 2015 - PRLog -- After the wake of recent shady scenes in the romance world, author Deborah M. Hathaway aims to clean up the romance genre by giving readers something a little lighter to read. Her latest novel, When Two Rivers Meet, proves the notion that heart fluttering romance can still be achieved through faint glances, dancing, and horseback rides across the English countryside.

As an avid reader of romance books, especially in her youth, Deborah grew tired of needing to stop halfway through a novel due to content she felt uncomfortable with. "Readers should have an option when it comes to selecting a romance novel. People often look for something more wholesome but don't know where to find it," Deborah says. "That's why I write, because I was in a similar situation."

While movies and TV shows have official content ratings, bookworms have to either rely on word-of-mouth, or trust general reviews, which don't always mention questionable scenes or explicit language. "With my novel, people won't have to worry about reading things they are uncomfortable with," Deborah says. "It's a clean romance!"

The Regency Romance, When Two Rivers Meet, follows the story of a young woman who has become tired with her way of life at Heatherhill, a stately home outside of Bath. It's not until a handsome gentleman asks her for a dance that her life promises to change forever. Their relationship quickly faces difficulty, however, as an unrelenting suitor and controlling parent promise to keep the couple apart, despite their unquestionable love for each other.
