| Musician R.G. Dempster Inspires Positivity In The Motor CityA native of the Detroit area, R.G. Dempster has long been immersed in the city's rich and diverse culture.

In 1974, Dempster moved to Birmingham, a Metro-Detroit city, where he opened his own art and music venue. In addition to creating music, he still pursues the visual arts and creates advertisements and logos for local businesses. In 2010, he founded Studio D, an art, music, and film gallery located in the Rail District of Birmingham. As a musician, Dempster achieved international success and has reached audiences both formally and informally from studio D to other grand venues.
