RALEIGH, N.C. - March 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Bailey’s Fine Jewelry received two of the five awards handed out at the 2015 Centurion Awards, a gala held recently recognizing the top jewelry stores nationally in several categories. Bailey’s was named Outstanding Retail Partner of the Year, as well as the Most Community Engaged Retailer.

Centurion Jewelry, the jewelry industry’s most well-known and respected trade show company, hosts the Centurion Awards each year to recognize the best and brightest in the jewelry business. This year’s ceremony took place Feb. 5 in Scottsdale, Ariz. and the closing speech was given by  former president George W. Bush.

“Being named Outstanding Retail Partner of the Year and the Most Community Engaged Retailer is an incredible honor,” said Trey Bailey of Bailey’s Fine Jewelry. “Many people in North Carolina know us, but to be recognized nationally against competition from all over the country is very humbling. We’re thrilled to share these awards with our employees and patrons who make Bailey’s what it is each and every day.”

As a local company, Bailey’s places special emphasis on giving back to the communities where its stores are located. As part of that effort, Bailey’s created the A Time to Give program in which patrons can receive a free watch battery replacement in exchange for a donation to that month’s selected charity. In 2014 alone, Bailey’s donated more than $56,000 to charities throughout the state of North Carolina through A Time to Give.
