Monvera Glass Décor wins at San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition for Unique Label Design

RICHMOND, Calif. - March 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Monvera Glass Décor, an industry leader in applied ceramic labels is proud to announce that one of their original designs won the 2015 Best of Class Award at the annual San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition in the Label category. The annual wine competition drew a record number 6,417 entries from 28 different states and is recognized as the largest wine competition of American wines in the world.

Monvera’s screen printed wine label for Little Fish Wine Company was the winner in the Etched-Painted category. The two-color, full-wrap label called Counter Current, depicts fish swimming against the current. Monvera’s in-house design team is credited with the label design.

Says Russell Fish, proprietor, “I started Little Fish Wine Company to create wine using grapes from the best small lots and share them with people who would appreciate them as much as I do. I wanted a label that really stands out as something different. I think silkscreen wine labels are the best way to do that. I have had great feedback on the label both for it's style and the message it conveys. Working with the Monvera design team was great, they really helped me take my idea to fruition and create a beautiful label.”
