LANSING, Mich. - March 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Lansing, Mich. - When preparation meets opportunity, good things can and do happen. And the director selected to steer the Collective Development Inc. feature film vision for '40 Nights' has been methodically, if not uniquely, prepping his entire life for this moment of big screen artistic calling.

Jesse Low, a Michigan resident, where he lives with his wife and three sons, spent his childhood in the Papua, New Guinea, jungle, and the son of Christian missionaries. His formative years were those of discovery, passionate perceptions and perspective on what shapes our world.

It was that portion of Jesse's resume' that convinced Collective Development CEO DJ Perry (who penned the powerful script and will portray Jesus) to take a leap of faith. One that puts into the hands of the young director, the 'creative and spiritual license' to tell the story of Jesus Christ's excruciating physical and emotional tribulations in the Wilderness.

The film also touches on a relatively unknown portion of Jesus' life, his upbringing. The early years will be told in flashbacks as Jesus suffers deprivation, temptation and taunting by Lucifer in the harshness of the Judean wilderness. Jesse will undoubtedly hone- in from personal experience on intangibles since he himself is raising three boys of his own. Childhood nuances. If the adage 'the Devil is in the details' holds true, '40 Nights' will appeal to a very large demographic.

A graduate of the Jesuit-affiliated Loyola Marymount University (Los Angeles), Jesse got his start in the entertainment business as an intern at Spyglass Entertainment.

His work has included everything from commercials and PSAs to major studio films. His passion for creating original scripts and bringing the stories to the screen has led the writer-director-producer to this wonderful opportunity when cameras roll March 16th in Yuma, Arizona.

Lansing-based musician, composer, sound designer Dennis Therrian, a long-time collaborator with Collective Development Inc., is the post-production supervisor for the project.

A classically-trained pianist, Dennis (Dean Teaster's Ghost Town, Bestseller, An Ordinary Killer) has created original scores on more than a dozen films, both features and documentaries. He has also worked with some of the music industry's giants. In a commercial for JBL, Dennis served as musical director and sound designer on the project that included The Who and Santana.

For more than 30 years Dennis has been a mainstay on the legendary Michigan (and Motown) music scene, having performed with entertainers in the full spectrum, from rock n' roll, salsa and big band to contemporary/acoustic jazz and blues.

Dennis is looking forward to scoring '40 Nights,' with its emotional storyline, beautiful vistas and gritty biblical-setting texture. Collective Development Inc. is beyond pleased that this film will be brought to life by the veteran post-production maestro.
