Project Team Site Option drives project team collaboration

Many organizations, especially in construction, technical services and other team intensive project models need to provide access to external partners or clients to share documents, participate in discussions and view project status. This was not possible in SP Project Tracker base because all projects resided in a single site. The new option allows project managers to create a project team site specifically for document sharing, collaboration and task tracking in a secure site. By just selecting a project type during setup, the Project Team sub-site is created automatically with permissions and the preferred site template.
