Stillpoint Community Acupuncture Celebrates International Women's Day with an Open House

VICTORIA, British Columbia - Feb. 27, 2015 - PRLog -- On Sunday, March 8th from 10am-1pm, Stillpoint Community Acupuncture will be hosting an International Women's Day Celebration at their Vic West location at 1008 Russell Street at Craigflower.

Stillpoint will be providing refreshments and door prizes, including a grand prize draw for an basket of Epicure products. Each guest will also receive a free gift with their treatment.

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the achievements of women past, present and future. In recognition, Stillpoint will donate 50% of all proceeds earned at the event to Bridges for Women Society, a local non-profit society that supports women impacted by violence or abuse.

Stillpoint Community charges on a sliding scale of $20-50 for treatments, where people pay what they want, with no questions asked. Acupuncture has been a designated health profession in Canada under the Health Professions Act since April 1, 1996.  In the three years since Stillpoint opened their doors in Langford they have provided over 15,000 treatments.

Community Acupuncture is safe, effective, and natural. Treatments occur in one large room, where everyone sits quietly in comfortable reclining chairs with their sleeves and pant legs rolled up enjoying the calming and healing atmosphere during their treatment.
