NearUs among the best in Europe in a final contest at Mobile World Congress 2015

PALO ALTO, Calif. - Feb. 27, 2015 - PRLog -- Europe, competes for the grand prize at Mobile World Congress 2015, the world's largest convention of mobile applications in Barcelona, 2-5 March.

NearUS is a location-based application for anonymous communications and interactivity for events and places with the potential for hyperlocal marketing.

NearUS aims to be an interactive platform for event organizers. Where for example, users can choose the next song in a concert, or the best player on the field in a football game, without any registration. Despite that also a great tool for congress where atendees can easily and anonymously ask questions to the speaker.For organizers, is a way of introducing interaction in an event or place, as well as promote their brand or sponsors, as the application is ready to be customized.

However, it is an application that allows any user to communicate with the people around them on an anonymous basis, wherever they are.

Having been launched in November, got already 10,000 users and about 750 rooms around the world, without any marketing costs.

It was created by a young Portuguese team of young, André Freitas, Rui Peixoto and James Serra.

The NearUs application is available for free download in Google Play (http://www.nearus.mobi/android) and AppStore (http://www.nearus.mobi/ios).
