Auriga expands with Cloud Centric Services on G-Cloud 6

LONDON - Feb. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Auriga, the expert data, ICT and security consultancy, has expanded its service offering on the Digital Marketplace by adding six new Specialist Cloud Services to the G-Cloud 6 Framework. Each of the accredited services is specifically designed to address the challenges faced by public sector organisations when migrating and managing data in the Cloud. The Cloud-centric services cover every aspect of migrating to and working within the virtual environment, from planning and procurement, to assessing and mitigating risk, to compliance and connection to government frameworks. Security and assurance are integral to each service and all are delivered by experienced CLAS consultants.

Auriga is a longstanding supplier on the UK Government’s G-Cloud Framework. The six new services were accepted by G-Cloud 6 and went live on 2 February 2015. G-Cloud 6 is the latest incarnation of the G-Cloud framework, launched in February 2012, which aims to allow central and local government to access a wide range of IT services quickly and competitively via the Digital Marketplace.

The services added to the Auriga portfolio under Specialist Cloud Services on the Digital Marketplace are as follows

·      The Cloud Enterprise Accreditation and CESG Certified Professional (CCP) Service: A CLAS and CCP consultancy service that provides advice on security, business and compliance regimes and guidance on risk mitigation, policy formation and procurement delivered by security cleared CCPs.

·      Government Security Classifications Policy (GSCP) Cloud Transition Service: offers GSCP risk management expertise including advice on managing the GSCP data lifecycle in a cloud context.

·      Cloud Security Services: improves speed of adoption and derisks the delivery of cloud based services by building information assurance from conception through to in-service. Includes supplier selection and management, including contractual and legislative advice, and effective security control through design, assurance and audit processes.

·      Technical Cloud Architecture: draws upon Auriga’s experience in securing the largest systems in operation today to provide assistance with design and architecture, system and vendor selection, system design and assurance as well as transitioning and business continuity planning.

·      Cloud Change, Transition and Transformation: aimed at those undertaking a Cloud-enabled business transformation, programme or project, the service covers all stages of the process from planning and mobilisation to impact assessments and remediation, supplier selection and contract negotiation, and ICT strategy development and implementation.

·      Hosted Integrated Management System Implementation: provides a single common framework for management systems, conferring economies of scale, reduction in resources and duplication of documents and governance to provide increased visibility at board level.
