Friedman noted that Reeves has been an exceptional team member ever since she joined the DoubleTree by Hilton Tarrytown when it opened eight years ago. Last year, Reeves won Hilton Worldwide’s prestigious Spirit of Care Award as a top performer with the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotels. That concern has included her strong commitment to her church and Bronx community where she lives. Among the activities she spearheads is hosting a monthly dinner in her home for more than 40 economically disadvantaged youth. This initiative began several years ago when Ms. Reeves invited a handful of her teenage son’s friends over for dinner during the holiday. However, when her son died unexpectedly three years ago, she saw how this tragedy devastated her son’s friends as well as the community and decided to continue hosting the dinners every month to crate a caring, loving atmosphere for the youngsters to heal. In addition, over the years, she has been a mother to 48 foster children.
