There are limited creative, local brands in the UAE, they are either really high-end which means they are expensive, or they are of poor quality. This inspired me to design a bag to showcase the wearer’s individuality and personality, bringing a new, fresh unique brand.” It seems that the UAE market is definitely in agreement. After just 7 months in business Little Bit Creations are very busy and business is going well. So well in fact that they are looking to expand their product range to include matching makeup bags and suitcases customized with you own cartoon or caricature and name on. They are also starting to print their fun cartoon characters with names onto mugs, aprons, t-shirts and diaries. A back to school range is imminent with pencil cases, lunch boxes PE bags and backpacks all with personalized unique pictures and names. It’s not just the consumer market that is demanding the cutomised products. Holly Bennie from Slice and Dice bought customised Jute Bags for her business. “LB Creations designed my bag based around my company. I wanted something that would be a talking point and also fun yet professional for trade fairs and markets. I take it everywhere and people have stopped me to chat about what my company does based on seeing my bag. It’s become one of my best (and most inexpensive) Juggling a family and a thriving business isn’t always easy. “ I have always loved art and I’m very creative, I like to make something out of nothing. There have been weekends I have worked all day and night. It’s been a hard journey working and struggling as well as trying to be the best mother you can and I know we have a long but exciting journey ahead of us. I work for my children for their future also to make them proud of their mommy and show them they can do what ever they want to if they work hard for it” Hengora said with pride. There have been many sacrifices too as she explained. “I have missed many invites and occasions to socialise, because the future of my business and family is very important to me, but I have a strong network of friends and family who support me and have supported me all the way. You have to keep positive and not give up because anything is achievable if you really put your mind to it focus on the big picture and push your limits.” Their website is about to go live and Hengora hopes that this ecommerce site will help drive more sales.
