Tax Deductible Contributions Sought To Launch Ministry For The Hurting
Burnout in ministry is a real problem and stoptheburnout.com is here to put an end to it.
By: La Siesta
Those in ministry are often thought to be immune to problems and normal life events, because of their role. Those who follow them have a tendency to set them on a plateau that they do not earn nor want. This alienates them and does not allow them the freedom of being themselves and they are unable to be open when they are hurting. They too need love and support, as well as understanding, but they do not receive it. Instead they are left alone, to suffer in silence, until it is too late and they collapse from the weight and the pressure. Then onlookers ask “what happened?” … All the while it could have been stopped, had someone noticed, had someone cared.
Those in ministry work long hours, many times without a break for sometimes years because of financial pressures. They lose time with their loved ones, and time of rest and solitude. They give to others, not receiving back for their own needs.
Stoptheburnout.com is all about providing that rest. In a safe, quiet, peaceful setting in Arizona, with all expenses paid for those who are unable to afford it on their own. From airfare and car rental, to their cabin accommodations, meals and entertainment, La Siesta will be a place of resting for 10 days, to return to the ministry recharged, revived and renewed in strength and passion.
For every person in ministry that is saved, one can figure that hundreds if not thousands will be gained for the kingdom, as their sphere of influence is greater than our own, as they are able to reach those that are wandering and needing a relationship with God. We cannot allow them to suffer alone and burnout when they are needed now more than ever.
Stoptheburnout.com is currently accepting tax free donations to provide the needed funds to purchase the property that is turnkey and ready to roll for this ministry work. The need is urgent, the need is now. It is asked that those of us who are able to contribute in a small or large way do so expediently to assure the property is not lost to another offer but it able to be used for kingdom purposes.
The Director of La Siesta shared the following statement. “Those who make a tax free donation of $1,000 or more, prior to the launch of this great work, will be included on the FOUNDERS WALL – where all names will be inscribed for future guests to see. All gifts large and small are needed and appreciated. Together we can make this happen!”
Currently there is a fundraiser on GoFundMe for this campaign. The link is: http://www.gofundme.com/
