New Age Piano Lesson 'Forest Morning' Helps Students Relax, Get Creative

Feb. 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Forests are places people go to relax, unwind, and take in nature's beauty. And pianist, composer, and online teacher Edward Weiss sees no reason why you 'can't take it with you.'

Weiss, who owns and operates Quiescence Music has just released a new piano lesson titled 'Forest Morning.’ The lesson promises to show students how to compose a piano piece in the 'New Age' style.

Mr. Weiss comments on his approach to composing:

"Nature is my biggest inspiration. I always carry paper and pen with me so when inspiration strikes, I can jot down the beginnings of a melody and flesh it out later at the piano. That's how 'Forest Morning' was created."

Weiss, no stranger to the piano himself, teaches something called ‘New Age’ piano online. Soothing and relaxing, the New Age piano style has been around and growing strong since the 1980's.

An intuitive way to play piano...

“I think many adults want to be able to go to the piano, sit down, and just play what they feel. But there aren’t many (if any) courses or lessons that teach this. Once I could easily do it myself, I wanted to share this beautiful style of music with the world by teaching others how to do it as well.”

The course Weiss references now has over 2000 members and 150 lessons and, according to this New Age piano teacher, is growing strong.

A complete video and step-by-step breakdown of 'Forest Morning' is available to Quiescence Music students and promises to show how the piece was composed and how students can do it on their own. Available now at
