LONDON - Feb. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- The Candidate Experience Awards (http://uk.thecandidateexperienceawards.org/), a non-profit organisation focused on facilitating the evolution of the employment candidate experience, today announced the judges of the third annual U.K. Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards. The 2014 honourees are set to be announced at a special ceremony taking place on Thursday, 26 February, 2015.

The CandE Award judges will determine which participating companies will be awarded “With Distinction” designation. Judging this year’s programme are Bill Boorman (http://www.recruitingunblog.com/about-2/), recruiting expert and founder of #Tru Events; Ken Brotherston, chief executive of The JobPost (http://www.thejobpost.co.uk/); and Kevin Green, chief executive officer of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (https://www.rec.uk.com/). The 2014 honourees are set to be announced at a special ceremony taking place on Thursday, 26 February, 2015.

Now in its third year, the U.K. CandE Awards has more than doubled since last year, with over 40 companies and 4,000 candidates participating in the 2014 survey. Open to organisations that recruit in the British employment market, the CandE Awards recognise employers that set high standards for candidate experience, and provide data to help participating organisations improve their talent acquisition processes. The U.K. programme consists of three survey rounds (http://uk.thecandidateexperienceawards.org/how-to-apply/) that work to evaluate the company’s application process and how it treats candidates who apply. This year’s winners will be announced and celebrated at the Third Annual U.K. Candidate Experience Awards Gala on Thursday, 26 February, 2015 at The King’s Fund (http://www.kingsfund.org.uk/) in London.

“The growing response to the CandE Awards over these last three years indicates that companies are making a conscious effort to understand the impacts of their recruiting practices and improve their candidate experience,” said Leigh Carpenter, U.K. programme director and Talent Board member. “To complement this and further our efforts, we have assembled a panel of judges that represent some of the best and brightest thought leaders in human resource management and recruitment. We look forward to their participation and to announcing this year’s honourees later this month.”
