Support Needed for Local Man with Stage 4 Brain Cancer

WOBURN, Mass. - Feb. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Kevin Cain (49) of Woburn, father of 4 young children and dedicated husband of Shannon for over 20 years went to his doctor complaining of a lingering headache in October 2014. Twelve hours later, Kevin was undergoing an eight hour emergency brain surgery. About to undergo his next round of chemotherapy, Kevin has been out of work since the operation. His short-term disability has run out. He has no long-term disability.

Originally from Charlestown, Kevin became a first-time home owner in Woburn less than a year ago. This crisis has put Kevin 4 months behind on his mortgage. In an effort to help his family, his brother Michael launched a GoFundMe campaign at htp://www.gofundme.com/lkemsc

Close friend, Scott Rosenthal of Cape Cod, is organizing a fund raiser on Friday March 27.  Tanner Tavern has graciously donated their venue from 7-11pm. The night will feature auctions of Boston sports memorabilia, hotel stays and more! Entertainment includes dancing, comedy and singers to perform.
