Veterans Village, Las Vegas Dedication Ceremony to Unveil Shipping Container Housing Prototype

LAS VEGAS - Feb. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- WHAT: Dedication ceremony to unveil the completed construction of housing unit made from a standardized,Recycled ISO shipping container.  The recycled housing units can be rapidly transported anywhere in the countryvia railroad "piggy-back" trains, semi, or jumbo air cargo transports for immediate occupancy for affordable housingthat provides stability and support for our homeless, displaced and disadvantaged United States Veterans to successfully transition back into civilian life.   Building materials for the prototype were funded by a grant received from the Home Depot Foundation who continues to support Veterans Village, Our United States Veterans an others in need across the country.

The Instant Built House prototype will be loaded onto flatbed tow truck and commence motorcade Northbound on Las Vegas Blvd. towards Downtown Las Vegas past City, County and Federal Buildings then return to Veterans Village where the prototype will remain on exhibit until it makes its journey to Washington D.C.
