Philip Ruggiero of Florida Sets Out to Travel the World

MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. - Feb. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Philip Michael Ruggiero of Florida is a caring and honest man. He spends most of his days volunteering at his local churches and soup kitchens. Philip has volunteered and numerous churches helping the less fortunate get a warm meal or find a place to stay for the night. He was raised in a home where it was important to look out for others. Philip Ruggiero knows how important it is helping others because he truly sympathizes with those who have nothing.
Not only does he spend his days volunteering at soup kitchens, but he also volunteers his time at the Boys and Girls Club. He understands that children are like sponges in the sense that they easily soak up things around. In his mind, he knows that if he could effectively inspire a child to be good and do great things, then the chances of that child growing up making an impact on the world is very high.
Philip Ruggiero is an advocate of higher learner and encourages the youth that he works with to pursue as much education as they can. Understanding that not all of the children he works with come from the same background, some less fortunate while others are reluctant to come from a wealthy home, he motivates the kids to read. Reading is one of Philips hobbies when he isn’t spending his time volunteering.
He believes that through reading, whether it is fiction or nonfiction, it helps expand one’s imagination and thinking. By reading different types of books, it allows one to absorb more information and helps them evolve to think differently. Other than reading, Philip Michael Ruggiero knows that painting is a brilliant way for individuals, children and himself to express their creativity. Philip himself is an avid painter and has practiced various painting techniques. From landscapes to portraits, he thoroughly enjoys the therapeutic aspect of applying his artistic aspect onto a blank canvas. Philip pulls much of his inspiration from nature. He loves being outdoors which is why many of his paintings are landscapes. Landscape paintings allow Philip to use a wide variety of colors.
Philip Ruggiero’s passion of helping others stems from his years serving as a Sergeant in the United States Army Reserves. Other than gaining great leadership skills, Philip learned a sense of looking out for others. After years of serving, he left the Army but still continues to support veterans and their families through the Freedom Fighters Outdoors and the Wounded Warrior Project.
When Philip Michael Ruggiero isn’t helping others, reading or painting he has his mind set on traveling the world. During an interview with Philip, he shared that the deeper reason as to why he wants to travel and it is because he understands that by participating in other cultures will allow him to better understand different perspectives. Because he is an avid reader, Philip had already knew much about different cultures, but he knew that traveling will give him a much deeper understanding of how the world really is.
