55th IFA Annual Convention Kicks Off With Volunteer Event At Veterans Village In Las Vegas
International Franchise Association Educational Foundation in collaboration with the VetFran Committee and Roark Capital Group, will host the “Franchising Gives Back” volunteer event with 115 volunteers and the United Way of Southern Nevada.
Roark Capital Group has partnered with the IFA Educational Foundation to launch a year-long, nationwide celebration of community leadership and the countless ways that franchise businesses support their local communities.
“United Way of Southern Nevada is uniquely able to connect passionate volunteers with any kind of project that they envision doing. While UWSN has year round volunteer opportunities in our impact areas of health, education and financial stability, we look forward to opportunities such as this when we can connect extraordinary companies with meaningful projects and best-in-breed non-profit partners. It is at this point of connection that critical work is accomplished and hearts are full,” said Chris Cappas, Senior Director, Community Engagement-United Way Southern Nevada
