Embrace Winter and Warm Up with Southern Ocean Chamber Family Expo Feb 28

SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - Feb. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- A typical winter phrase is that the end of February cannot come soon enough; this year it is in anctipation because the local business community of Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce has been planning a winter blow out event to warm up every age. Saturday, Feb 28 from 10 to 2, this pop up style event will feature a free outdoor gaming garden, showcasing the National Guard video trailer, winter disc golf lessons, mobile gaming units, warming area and treats outside; to Landfall movie screenings, vendor village, children’s project workshop and LBI Rotary lunch lounge on the inside.

This event is free to all, and will provide an afternoon of activity for all ages. Local businesses will be there to introduce their products and services, Jetty Rock Foundation will be showing two free screenings of their critically acclaimed film LandFall, David’s Dream and Believe Generation Dream will be selling Hot Chocolate outside, and of course plenty of giveaways and specials from businesses and local organizations.  Come out and see what is happening with All Saints Regional Catholic School, St Francis Community Center, Emeritus at Stafford,Seaview Orthopaedic & Medical, Bella Donna Salon & Spa, The Wireless Experience, The Van Dyk Group, State Farm Insurance, Cruise Planners, The Learning Experience, Fulton Bank, Speech Pathology Solutions, LLC, Costco Wholesale, Wedding Road Show/ Rock the Aisle, Caseys Discount Cleaning Service, Aetna Medicare, Lighthouse International Film Festival, Healing Hands of Manahawkin, TD Bank, Shore Community Bank, Southern Ocean County Community Foundation, Anderson Insurance Agency, Builders General Supply, RM Financial Management , Just Chillin Ice Cream, Home Depot ,David’s Dream and Believe Cancer Foundation with gaming units provided by Game Zone Mobile and Party Crashers. Outdoor Warming area provided by Reynolds Landscaping and Garden Shop. Stafford Township Police will be doing Child ID kits, Special visits from costumed characters are also scheduled for the day.

The Winter Warm Up and Family Expo will take place from 10-2, at St Mary’s Parish Center at McKinley Avenue & Bishop Lane Manahawkin. Free admission and free parking.
