Charlotte Personal Injury Attorney Whitney Brooks Joins Ask A Lawyer Day

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Feb. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Last January 31, the North Carolina Bar Association sponsored the Ask A Lawyer Day volunteer event at the offices of Legal Services of Southern Piedmont and Legal Aid of North Carolina.

Joined by lawyers from the Charlotte Mecklenburg area as well as nine other locations across North Carolina, the volunteer event gave citizens a chance to talk to lawyers one-on-one and free of charge for advice on topics that include bankruptcy, consumer, contract, criminal, employment, estate, family, tax, and housing law. Although lawyers gave their advice where possible to individuals, no attorney-client relationships were formed.

"This was an opportunity to help answer questions and get out in the community to help others," Whitney Brooks, a Charlotte personal injury attorney, said.
