10 Building Centerpoint Portfolio Purchased By Westmount Realty Capital And Partners Group

MILWAUKEE - Feb. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- A joint venture between Westmount Realty Capital, LLC and Partners Group is pleased to announce the purchase of the Northwest Industrial Portfolio in metropolitan Milwaukee, encompassing 10 industrial buildings and 1.7 million square feet of space. Westmount and Partners Group were drawn to what they view as an attractive industrial real estate market in the United States that is flying below the radar of the institutional world.

The Milwaukee industrial portfolio’s in-fill locations are strategically spread throughout the city, in close proximity to the interstate freeway system, executive housing, and accessible to labor pools.   Westmount plans to actively manage the portfolio to maximize tenant retention through delivery of best-in-class property management, make-ready improvements to existing vacancies, re-branding and re-leasing programs.  “With a 5.2 percent overall vacancy rate in the Milwaukee market, and limited options for users that are looking for space, we believe that our value add approach is going to open this portfolio back up for business as a leading alternative to new construction for users that are looking to expand in the market,” said Steve Kanoff, Executive Vice President and Principal of Westmount.
