Australian Designer Launches Crowdfunding Campaign with a Difference

MELBOURNE, Australia - Feb. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Australian luxury outerwear brand GEHRICH launched their first collection in July 2014 with an outstanding range of coats. Timeless designs created with exceptional materials and a philosophy that sees GEHRICH focus on quality over quantity, sustainable collection sizes and ethical manufacturing that largely takes place locally in Australia.

Since launching their first collection and online store the Melbourne based brand has been steadily gaining attention for their beautifully crafted garments. With their Autumn/Winter 2015 collection to launch in the coming months, founders Samantha Gehrich and Chris Thomas have turned to crowdfunding platform Indiegogo in an effort to engage with fashion lovers and help raise money in order to expand GEHRICH.

A unique opportunity for up to 20 people to be involved in everything from style, fabric selection, detail placement and even naming of the finished coat - with each person in the design team being named as co-designer on the GEHRICH website.

For the ultimate pledge of support GEHRICH are offering fashionistas the chance to become their brand ambassador for a season. In return for investing, backers will receive a wardrobe full of GEHRICH pieces, a fully styled photo shoot and the chance to meet the designer.
