South LA Saves presents the 2nd Annual "America Saves Week"

LOS ANGELES - Feb. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- This event is designed to provide tips and resources to create awareness of the need to save money, reduce debt and build wealth - for both parents and children! There will be gifts, resources, fun and MORE!

Building wealth starts when you set a goal and make a plan to reach that goal. Whatever goal you choose – whether it’s buying a car, buying a house, or getting out from under your debts, South LA Saves is your ticket to creating the life you desire for your family.

California Credit Union and other financial institutions have partnered with South LA Saves and will be offering little to no cost checking and savings accounts to the community.

·         Child ID Kits

·         Insurance (Home, Auto, Life, etc.)

Partnering with South LA Saves is Sammy Rabbit of 'It's a Habit", a Los Angeles based organization, dedicated to teaching financial literacy and other empowering life skills and habits to youth. Sammy Rabbit will be on site to entertain and educate the children present. Their slogan is "Changing Lives One Habit, One Mind, and One Dime at a Time!"
