Independent Artist Takes A Stand and Sends An Intense Message to Music Fans
While You Keep Sleeping on Artists Creating a Positive Legacy, Here’s a New Pillow Case for Your Pillow
By: Street City Enterprises
The cover art has a luxurious look embossed into the design. This smooth design incorporates the logo of his label, Street City Enterprises color schemes with a touch of the Oklahoma flag to represent the intense message behind the single that strongly is bringing awareness to L-Smooth's hometown hip hop scene.
"Pillow Cases" is all about the fans of hip hop music in other parts of the country as well as in my home state of Oklahoma that are not paying attention to the artists or giving the artist a chance by listening to their music. One stereotype is that if you're from or live in Oklahoma, you can't rap or make good hip hop records in which I believe is false. I just want to be one of many artist to prove the doubters wrong. So with that being said, hip hop artists in the state of Oklahoma are being "slept on." Not many like to pay attention to independent artists in general. So if they want to keep sleeping, here's a new "Pillow Case" for their pillow," said L-Smooth.
He is not only a known independent artist in his hometown, but a community leader that has initiated several community activities to help children in his area, such as raising $2,788.00 towards Demarion Pittman’s Medical Fund since the start of his local cause campaign on Demarion’s Law launched by Celestial Caring Enterprises that garnered major TV & Radio media attention.
Currently, “Pillow Cases featuring Shylah Vaughn” has gained considerable airplay from a commercial FM radio station since the start of Street City Enterprises launching his radio promotions campaign, thus receiving good feedback. 4 days later, Celestial Caring Enterprises launched a 4 week radio airplay campaign to service to his genre mainstream station panels across the US in expectance of a successful outreach in the first week.
During the digital promotions campaign recently launched by Celestial Caring Enterprises, L-Smooth’s new single, “Pillow Cases featuring Shylah Vaughn” is now on Shazam, http://www.shazam.com/

Lamar Mensah aka L-Smooth was born and raised in a lower class area of Midwest City, Oklahoma. His passion and hunger to use his voice to make a difference in the lives of others led him to writing and recording music that was putting out a positive message. L-Smooth said, “My music breathes life into people that need to hear a good message that will change their negative mindset to a positive way of thinking.” L-Smooth was surrounded by drugs and violence, but he chose not to get involved. He had the choice to go left or right. He chose to go right, but had he went left, he probably wouldn’t be here right now. He grew up doing what was right derived from his step-father molding and shaping him into the man he is today. Unknown to him of what his future was holding, at 22 L-Smooth was blessed with a son for whom he continues to walk the straight and narrow road to provide him a better life.
