Aris Kickstarts his new album "Pulse"

NEW YORK - Feb. 10, 2015 - PRLog -- Brooklyn born recording artist Aris  is hard at work on his 3rd full length album "Pulse", and has launched a Kickstarter to crowdfund the release. The album will contain 15 or more tracks, and be an uplifting journey of love and life. Mixing dance, rock, soul and world sounds, the release will feature tribal beats, soaring hooks, entrancing guitars, lush strings and bubbling synths.

The second time as executive producer on an album for Aris, he is confidently crafting an album that will be both mainstream and unique. Based on the success and critical acclaim of his last release "Twilight Revival", the album will touch many hearts and minds, and be his best material to date.

Raised by a single mom who always taught him to dream big, Aris couragiously crafts music that is both heartfelt and edgy. This new album "Pulse" is all about love... Falling in love, loving yourself, loving Life. The Kickstarter campaign serves as a pre-sale for the album, and also includes various levels of merchandise and experiences which are sure to entice fans and new listeners to join in on the project.

Already partially funded and edging towards completion, the album Kickstarter ends on February 21st, and the album "Pulse" is expected to be completed by the summer and delivered by September. Aris and his music have been featured in fashion campaigns for Project Runway winner Irina Shabayeva and on dance floors at venues such as the legendary Webster Hall, the Bitter End, Santos Party House, and most recently he performed a duet with Grammy winner Paula Cole to a packed house and standing ovation. Jim Fusilli of The Wall Street Journal describes Aris' music as "rock with big lyrical themes" and offers comparisons to singer Peter Gabriel.

While Aris has also drawn comparisons to Kurt Cobain, Chris Cornell and U2, his sound is definitely unique. "Clubland's newest rocker combines a punk sensibility with electronic dance to create a unique grunge house sound all his own." writes Nashville's "Inside OUT".

Aris has gravitated towards emotional music by singer-songwriters who bared their souls through musical expression. From as early as age 3, the Brooklyn native can remember being influenced by the city's melting pot of musical sounds, and as the son of an Irish belly-dancing mother and a Greek immigrant father his musical worldview was influenced by the diversity shared by his family and hometown.

Aris is nominated for five OUTmusic awards for music from his previous album "Twilight Revival"  including Best Rock Song (for "Hallelujah"), Best Alternative Song (for "Fallen Blind"), Best Inspirational Song (for "Pray for Change"), Producer of the year (for "Deaf Dumb & Blind") and Best Spoken Word Live Performance (for his duet with Paula Cole).
