Sorry—Owning That Drone Will Not Get You A Valentine’s Date

NEW YORK - Feb. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- For many Americans, Valentine’s Day can be the most depressing day of the year because they are lonely and without a Valentine’s Date.  If you are looking for a date for Valentine’s Day, owning a real airplane rather than a drone is much more likely to get you that Valentine’s Date.  A recent survey by RedTail Partners of 200 people in the North East ages 25 to 54 found that drone owners and luxury car owners are less desirable than airplane owners as Valentine’s Dates.  The survey found that 46% of women and 58% of men would rather have a person that owned a real airplane versus a person that owned a drone as a Valentine’s Date.

RedTail Partners surveyed 100 women and 100 women and asked them if there were three people and one owns an airplane, one owns a luxury car, and one owns a drone, who would they rather have as a Valentine’s Date?  100% of the female and 100% of the male respondents that earned $100,000 to $149,000 and 50% of female respondents and 20% of the male respondents that earned $75,000 to $99,999 preferred airplane owners as their Valentine Date as opposed to drone owners or luxury car owners. The research indicates that while drone owners are viewed as more intelligent than airplane owners and almost equal as lovers to airplane owners, drone owners are not more sought after as Valentine’s Dates.   Chad Rucker, a member of RedTail Partners, a Princeton, New Jersey based company that markets shared ownership interest in single engine aircraft to people that are new to flying and becoming a pilot stated, “There is nothing more romantic or cool than you piloting your Valentine’s Date around Manhattan in your own single engine airplane.  You cannot do that with a drone—at best you could take a video of Manhattan with a drone.  Try getting a Valentine’s Date with that. #Drone=lonelyvalentine”
