ADELAIDE, Australia - Feb. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- "The CFS has placed fire bans on 11 South Australia districts as a warning to not engage in any activity that could provide the ignition point for a fire," says online brokerage firm WeatherWin.com

Complete fire bans have been placed for South Australia, with some areas reaching 40c. The CFS has predicted extremely hazardous fire-conducive weather conditions and has declared severe fire ratings for Saturday in the majority of the state.

"State co-ordinator Brenton Eden has strongly urged citizens to postpone any activity that could possibly spark a fire," says WeatherWin.com.

On Friday, Eden said: "Simple things like mowing grass over rocky, dry ground, vehicle exhausts, using an angle grinder, campfires and barbecues - even the simple act of using an electric drill in the wrong place - might just provide that spark which could be catastrophic."

The Bureau of Meteorology forecasts a high temperature of 39c in Adelaide, reaching a maximum 40c in the northern area of Elizabeth.

Severe fire ratings are declared on Saturday in the fire ban districts of Murraylands, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, West Coast, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Mid North, Mount Lofty Ranges, Kangaroo Island, Yorke Peninsula, Northwest Pastoral, Upper South East and Lower South East.
