ATLANTA, GA 30307 PH. 404-523-3471 www.wrfg.org February 5, 2015 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: 404-523- WRFG PROUDLY PRESENTS THE 39TH ANNUAL PEACHBLOSSOM BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL WRFG is pleased to announce the 39th Annual Peachblossom Bluegrass Festival will be held Saturday April 11, 2015. The festival will take place at the Clarkston Community Center, located at 3701 College Avenue, ClarkstonGeorgia, exit #40 off Interstate 285. The doors will open at 11:30 AM, with the music starting at 12:00 Noon and running continuously until 8:00 P.M. Tickets for the annual fundraiser are $15 general admission at the door or $12 in advance through WRFG, Members of WRFG and Senior Citizens $10, and students age 6 and older, $6. Children under age 6, admitted free of charge. Each year our goal is to provide the audience with some of the best and freshest Bluegrass/Americana music the region has to offer. The performers for the 39th Annual WRFG Peachblossom Bluegrass Festival are: Playing On The Planet, Cedar Hill, Johnny Roquemore & The Apostles of Bluegrass, Tucker Station String Band, Sweetwater Creek, Bullsboro, The Dona Bopp Band, and Curtis Jones & Primal Roots In conjunction with the festival, WRFG will offer special programming that will include commentary on the history of the WRFG Peachblossom Bluegrass Festival, live in-studio music and interviews from some of the performers, as well as special guests associated with the event. The 39th Annual WRFG Peachblossom Bluegrass Festival is an indoor festival- -no need to worry about the weather, and there is plenty of parking. We invite folks to bring their instruments for the always fun and popular parkin’ lot pickin’. The festival is an “ALL AGES” event for the entire family. Folks can enjoy great music, food, crafts, and fellowship. All proceeds go to help cover operating costs for Atlanta’s only volunteer, non-profit community radio station, WRFG 89.3FM.
