Sweet Protection’s Rooster Discesa RS Ski Helmet Wins ISPO Gold Award

This helmet, used by professional alpine ski racers like Henrik Kristoffersen and Aksel Lund Svindal in the World Cup, is the most advanced ski racing helmet ever developed.

The Rooster Discesa RS features a carbon fiber reinforced polymer shell for an outstanding strength to weight ratio, rigidity, and impact performance; a molded EPS liner with Impact Shield inserts to provide unsurpassed low volume shock absorption; and the MIPS (Multi- Directional Impact Protection System) to further help prevent head injury. In case of an emergency, the helmet comes with a quick release system so it can be removed easily without any motion of the head.

The Rooster Discesa RS is the only MIPS-equipped helmet on the market that meets the new FIS RH 2013 standard for ski racing helmets.
