Follow on Google News | Lifestyles’ Friends Gone Green Team Hosts Wendy’s Fundraiser on February 17“Our Gone Green program is dedicated to training challenged young adults in skills they need to earn money while helping keep Staten Island clean and green,” said Janice Katz, Friends Gone Green Vocational Program Coordinator. “It’s a time to come together to eat and have fun supporting Lifestyles for the Disabled.” The dining area will be festooned with colorful recycled decorations. Participants will wear their Friends Gone Green tees designed by participant Richie Cefalu and printed by Lifestyles’ own Tee Styles Embroidery and Screen Printing shop. The Friends Gone Green team will sell hand-crafted bookmarks from recycled materials. A 50/50 raffle will also help support Lifestyle’s vocational programs.
