PRLog (Press Release) (../) - Feb. 5, 2015 - I had the pleasure of conducting a follow up  interview with this top producing agent in Lexington and Columbia South Carolina.  He has helped more buyers and sellers than any other agent or agent team in his Coldwell Banker, United Realtors office.  Let’s get to the interview:

You have been in real estate for roughly 3 years and are the top producing agent with Coldwell Banker, United Realtors.  Where do you see things going now?

I am grateful that I have been able to help as many buyers and sellers as I have in such a short period of time. Coming into a new area and state was the one obstacle that I thought would be the most challenging. Started a business from scratch has made me appreciate every opportunity that has come my way. Whether I am helping a client find a rental property or purchase/sell a home I treat everyone the same. Thankfully, my honesty, work ethic and implementing the latest technology and proven systems have allowed me to separate myself from my peers. The demand has continued to increase and I have employed additional agents including my wife Kelly to ensure we exceed our client’s expectations. We are currently looking for a buyer’s agent as well.

After another successful year, have your goals or strategies changed for 2015?

 My team and I are putting the plans in place for our biggest year yet. We are making sure the systems are in place to handle the demand. Our goal this year is to help 100 buyers and sellers. This would double our results from last year. We are also looking to increase our sales volume to 25 million. Our overall goal remains the same and that is to exceed our client’s expectations one transaction at a time. We do not want to become the biggest real estate team in the Lexington and Columbia area unless we continue to excel with our customer satisfaction.

What is the status of the Columbia and Lexington market?

 We are still in a buyers’ market despite what people may be saying. Some neighborhoods and areas are selling better than others.  The downtown Columbia area is seeing some growth; Lexington is continuing to grow as well as homes on Lake Murray. The Northeast and other parts of Columbia other than new construction are not seeing much growth. All the projections show Lexington as the fastest growing area in the upcoming year and years to come.

You started your business in Lexington SC.  I know we discussed you servicing other areas. How has that transition been going?

As you recall we started in Lexington because the projected growth and after 2 years of business we have branched out to all parts of Columbia and Lexington including Lake Murray and the Northeast area. With downtown Columbia properties in high demand we have targeted that area as our next opportunity for even more growth. Lake Murray has been a big part of our teams growth as properties on the lake are always in demand. As our growth continues we will designate agents to specific areas as well.
