LightGabler Free Seminar: Effective and Legal Hiring Practices

CAMARILLO, Calif. - Feb. 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Employment law firm LightGabler LLP is presenting a free employment law seminar for employers, managers and human resource professionals, “Speed Dating for Employers: Effective (and Lawful) Hiring and Onboarding of Employees.” The seminar will be held twice: Tuesday, February 10 in Oxnard and Tuesday, February 24 in Simi Valley.

         LightGabler employment law attorney Karen L. Gabler will discuss effective and lawful hiring techniques and how to tell if an applicant is the best person for the job. She will also cover what documentation is permitted, interview questions to ask (and not ask) and hiring restrictions and requirements to avoid discrimination claims from applicants.

         The Oxnard seminar will be held at the Oxnard Courtyard Marriott (600 East Esplanade Dr., Oxnard) and the Simi Valley seminar will take place at the Best Western Posada Royale Hotel (1775 Madera Rd., Simi Valley). Both seminars are from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. A continental breakfast will be served.
