Follow on Google News | Irish Whiskey Museum Finally Opens in DublinDublin’s Irish Whiskey Museum has now been officially opened to the public, giving visitors an interactive education on the history of Ireland’s national spirit.
By: yukiss Irish Tourist Board (Failte Irelan) said that the museum aims to promoteindigenous Irish whiskey spirits culture, welcomes visitors from around theworld on the history of Irish whiskey interest for tourists. In addition toChristmas Day, the museum will be open throughout the year. The first year isexpected to receive 80,000 foreign tourists. The museum features a series of exhibitions detailing the history of whiskey distilling in Ireland through the use of interactive technology and actors. Visitors aged over 18 years will also have the opportunity to taste samples of Irish whiskey, while more extensive tastings are available with VIP packages. Keith McDonnell, founder of the Irish Whiskey Museum, said: “Irish Whiskey acts as an ambassador for Ireland all over the world. The Irish Whiskey Museum gives those who appreciate our whiskey the chance to discover a litany of legends and tales that will entrance and inform.” The museum, located on Grafton Street in Dublin 2, is open seven days a week, 364 days a year (excluding Christmas Day).
