Steven Fingerhut wins hearing on behalf of former stockbroker

NEW YORK - Jan. 30, 2015 - PRLog -- Attorney Steven Fingerhut, an associate of the law firm Imbesi Law P.C., successfully represented a former stockbroker accused of unlawfully receiving compensation benefits.  The Department of Labor issued an initial determination that the firm's client was not entitled to benefits.  The law firm appealed the determination and a hearing was held before the Honrabale Charlesa London.

Judge London issued an award in favor of the firm's client after the hearing was conducted.  The decision overuled the initial determination declaring the firm's client ineligible for benefits.

Specifically, the decision set forth the following:

DECISION: The initial determination is overuled.  The claimant is allowed benefits with respect to the issues decided herein.

Judge London determined that Mr. Fingerhut successfully proved that the firm's client was entitled to benefits.
