Show Me Your Paradise Campaign Kicks Off

PORT DOUGLAS, Australia - Jan. 29, 2015 - PRLog -- With a prize pool of $4000 up for grabs, Tourism Port Douglas and Daintree (TPDD) executive officer Tara Bennett said she was excited to launch the campaign today (January 29) in Port Douglas.

“If you have a knack for videography or photography, have some fantastic footage from your experiences in the region including Port Douglas, Mossman and Daintree, then we want to see it.

“Show Me Your Paradise is about the person submitting the entry to show us their paradise - the paradise they love and the paradise they want to show the world.”

Ms Bennett believed the Show Me Your Paradise campaign would build on TPDD’s other successful domestic campaigns including Discover Paradise, which is a targeted promotional campaign in key metro markets such as Melbourne and Sydney.

She said theme ideas could include the Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforest, off road exploring, outdoor adventure, Indigenous culture, nature and wildlife, beaches, and finally food, wine and the Far North’s tropical lifestyle. Prizes include $3000 for the winning video and $1000 for the winning photographer.

“All videographers need to do is put together a quick one minute clip that features what they love about paradise. Photographers can submit up to five of their very best images that capture their paradise.

“It is really simple to enter, just complete the online entry form, submit the link to the video, and send high res images and the video to TPDD.

“All entries will be reviewed by a selection panel before the winner is announced on March 9, 2015.”
