Each monitor in the review underwent extensive use including tests for everyday functioning and more intense conditions. Test metrics included range, EMF emissions, video, sound, features, and battery life. Test results and user impressions were used to score products and determine award winners for Editors’ Choice and Best Value. The Dropcam Pro really stole the show for this category of products earning the Editors’ Choice award and 9 more points than its closest competitor.
