STW at Booth C7072 at World of Concrete 2015, February 3 to 6
STW Technic will be exhibiting at the World of Concrete 2015 (booth C7072) to showcase innovative controllers, sensors and telematics technology for off highway commercial vehicles.
By: STW Technic
STW’s award winning controllers, sensors and telematics are highly regarded in the construction industry for their rigorous testing, high quality German engineering and unmatched flexibility.
Visitors to STW’s booth (C7072) will also will get a glimpse of STW’s controllers, including award winning safety controllers, sensors and telematics solutions, which include telematics controllers along with an innovative, web based Vehicle Data System (VDS).
STW’s Safety Controllers conform to safety standards (EN 61506, SIL2, EN62061 SIL C2 and EN ISO 13849 PLd) helping you reach safety certification for your machine. STW controllers are the first to be certified in both CoDeSys V3.5 and C platforms.
STW employs a unique memory protection mechanism for the electronic control unit that allows the application software to access both standard and safety functions in parallel, and allows for control of both safety and standard I/Os on one control unit with the safety functionality protected from the interference.STW has also implemented the CANopen Safety (ECoS) Protocol. Safety data can be transferred at system level between safety components, for example sensors and actuators, or across decentralized control networks. More information on STW’s controllers can be found at: http://www.stw-
STW’s Vehicle Data System is a highly flexible, customized telematics monitoring and management solution that provides all of its web-based functionality both locally, through a wifi connection to the TC3g, and remotely, through a server-based solution. The tool provides the capability to monitor vehicle or machine behavior by viewing or logging dynamic variables and then adjusting parameters, setpoints or thresholds if desired. Problems can be diagnosed and vehicle optimization executed without having an expert on-site. More information is available at: http://www.stw-
STW’s Sensors include the NGS2 gyroscope sensor and M01-CAN sensor with J1939 protocol. The NGS2 is a combined sensor for measurement of angular velocity and inclination in 3 axes. It also measures the acceleration in 3 axes. The measured values are available on the CANbus or as discrete analog outputs, current or voltage. STW designed the NGS2 gyroscope sensor especially for mobile work machines and off-highway vehicles. It has a robust housing that makes it suitable for the harsh conditions associated with off-highway applications. The NGS2 can also be utilized as an inclination sensor, as both sensor types are integrated into a single device. More information is available on the STW website at http://www.stw-
The MO1 CAN sensor with J1939 protocol is available in a wide range of pressure ranges and connection types, has a full J1939 capability and comes with a PC-based configurator tool which allows full configuration of all J1939 parameters.
World of Concrete 2015 is being held at Las Vegas, Nevada from February 3 – 6.
