Mystic Falls Ultimate Fan Contest Winners Announced

COVINGTON, Ga. - Jan. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- The Covington Newton County Convention and Visitors Bureau announced the winners of The Mystic Falls Ultimate Fan Contest on January 26^th 2015. The contest encouraged fans of The Vampire Diaries series from around the world to visit Covington Georgia between October 30th and December 31^st. In order to win to Grand Prize of The Mystic Falls Ultimate Fan Contest, fans were required to stay overnight in a participating Covington hotel, motel or bed and breakfast.

The second place winner will receive a "Love Sucks" poster signed by the main character cast members of The Vampire Diairies series. The third place winner will receive a complete DVD set of the fifth season of The Vampire Diaries series. Entrants for these prizes were not required to have an overnight stay to qualify.

The Mystic Falls Ultimate Fan Contest was widely successful and promoted film tourism throughout the Covington - Newton County area. It is with great pleasure that Jenny McDonald, Tourism Director for the Covington Newton County Convention and Visitors Bureau announces the following winners of The Mystic Falls Ultimate Fan Contest:

Grand Prize - Myranda Bomhardt from Baltimore, Maryland.

Second prize - Dawn Johnson from Bartlett, Illinois.

Third prize - Jessica Goodwin from Sylvester, Georgia.

The Grand Prize winner will receive weekend accomodations in Covington’s most acclaimed bed and breakfast, The Twelve Oaks Bed and Breakfast for herself and a guest. Once in Covington, Ms. Bomhardt and her guest will receive a gift basket from Covington’s own The Cork Boutique. During her weekend stay in Covington, Ga, Ms. Bomhardt will enjoy a spa day at Charmed Salon and Tropical Nails, lunch at TVD cast favorites Bradley’s Bar-B-Que and Scoops, VIP dinner at Covington’s famous Mystic Grill, VIP limo filming location tour by Mystic Falls Tours followed by a private shopping spree at On Location Gifts and Shelvie Jean, private photo shoot and garden luncheon at Lochwood Mansion (AKA-Worthington Manor) and various shopping escursions to Covington, Georgia fan and cast favorite boutiques.
