HOUSTON - Jan. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Season 10 American Idol Top 8 Boys finalist Robbie Rosen (http://www.robbierosenofficial.com/) of Merrick, New York will join X-Factor Top 6 standout Drew Ryniewicz (http://www.drewofficial.com/) and The Voice contestant Branden Mendoza (http://www.myonlyescape.com/) on the Allstar Nation Tour (http://www.allstarnationtour.com/) starting Monday, February 2 at Sartartia Middle School in Sugar Land.

The Allstar Nation Tour (https://www.facebook.com/#!/allstarnationtour) is the nation’s premiere anti-bullying (http://www.allstarnationtour.com/) school concert tour featuring emerging recording artists who perform and speak out against bullying at middle and high schools across the country.

The highly-engaging concert assembly is a free supplemental anti-bullying program. Artists perform Top 40 and original music to connect with students. Between songs, they speak out against bullying, share personal experiences, and discuss prevention methods. The Allstar Nation Tour is the only anti-bullying concert tour to bring together musicians from American Idol, The Voice, and X-Factor.

Rosen, 21, is scheduled to perform the week of February 2 joining Top 6 X-Factor finalist Drew Ryniewicz (http://www.drewofficial.com/), 17, of Chino Valley, Ariz. and New Caney, Texas native Branden Mendoza (http://www.myonlyescape.com/), 21, who competed on The Voice season six.  Also performing are pop singers Nic Neufeld (http://nicneufeldmusic.com/), 13, of Dodsland, Saskatchewan; and Omar Alhindi (http://www.omaralhindimusic.com/), 17, of Fresno, Calif.

Performance locations, dates, and times include:

Monday, Feb. 2 at Sartartia Middle School at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 5 at Dulles Middle School at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 6 at Sugarland Middle School at 9:00 a.m.

In 2011 at the age of 16, Rosen auditioned for American Idol in Jersey City, New Jersey. His rendition of “Yesterday (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLNkvdQJQa0)” by The Beatles wowed show judges. Steven Tyler declared Rosen had a “beautiful voice” while Randy Jackson confessed that he had “Crazy, mad vocals.” Jennifer Lopez admitted “I like you.”

The then straight-A student and star third-baseman at Sanford H. Calhoun High School went on to compete in Hollywood, making it through to the Top 8 Boys group before being eliminated. Scotty McCreery ultimately won the competition.

Now 21, Rosen is a junior at Long Island’s Hofstra University, studying Jazz and Commercial Music. The singer-songwriter and pianist has written about 140 original songs including an anthem titled “My Life (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hb1pL7xdmxo)” for a national bully prevention program.

Since American Idol, Rosen released his debut EP titled "Just Like a Rose (https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/just-like-a-rose-ep/id896362013)”. The EP features five original songs with a mix of uplifting ballads, dance tunes, feel-good and inspirational music. He has shared the stage with top bands and singers such as Rascal Flatts, Martina McBride, Kenny Rogers, Billy Dean, Darius Rucker, and others. Rosen has also opened for artists such as Aaron Carter and The Voice Season 3 winner Cassadee Pope.

According to recent studies, bullying affects nearly one in three schoolchildren in America grades six through 10. It’s a major factor in teen suicide and school shootings. In fact, suicide is the third leading cause of death among young people, resulting in about 4,400 deaths per year, according to the CDC. Nearly 70 percent of students think schools respond poorly to bullying.

The Houston-based Allstar Nation Tour has exploded in popularity having attracted top performers from around the country. The concert tour has visited about 100 schools in Michigan, Texas, Wisconsin, and Florida since August 2014 performing for more than 75,000 students and faculty.
