Covenant House California Names Young Williams As Chief Development And Communications Officer

LOS ANGELES - Jan. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- (LOS ANGELES, CA) – Covenant House California (http://www.covenanthousecalifornia.org) (“CHC”), the largest agency in the state to supply food, shelter, immediate crisis care and other services to homeless youth has named Tanya Young Williams to the position of Chief Development and Communications Officer, as was announced today by Bill Bedrossian, CHC’s executive director.

Young Williams has been a senior executive for more than 15 years leading strategy, development and communications teams in the profit and non-profit sectors.  Prior to joining Covenant House California she worked as an Executive Vice President of Development and Executive Strategy and Communications Consultant through her company, TRY Williams LLC.  She is an accomplished and versatile leader in fundraising, communications and constituent relations with extensive and wide-ranging experience in the non-profit sector.  Her clients include:  American Bible Society, American Civil Liberties Union, DoSomething and North 25 Housing Development.  “I am excited for the opportunity to development and implement strategies to increase the financial support and garner greater awareness for the unprecedented work being done every day at CHC,” says Young Williams. Young Williams is also nationally recognized as a leader in the fight against domestic violence.
